- According to three US sources, an Iran-linked oil tanker was intercepted in the Indian Ocean overnight, as President Trump threatened to resume military strikes on Iran.
- The US sanctioned the tanker, known as the Skywave, in March for its role in delivering Iranian oil. Ship-tracking data showed it traveling just west of Malaysia on Tuesday after crossing the Malacca Strait. The ship was most likely loaded with more than a million barrels of crude at Iran's Kharg Island in February, according to brokers and Lloyds List Intelligence data.
