Strait of Hormuz
- Nine vessel transits recorded, down from 23 on July 31 and 11 on August 1
- Five vessels exited the Gulf, while four entered
- Seven vessels used the Iranian Unilateral Scheme, with none using the Hormuz Traffic Separation Scheme
- Traffic included two sanctioned vessels and two shadow fleet vessels
Bab el-Mandeb
- Thirty vessel crossings recorded, down from 41 on July 31 and 37 on August 1
- Twenty vessels exited the Red Sea, while 10 entered
- One dark transit, two sanctioned vessel crossings, and three shadow fleet crossings were recorded
